A proud display of height, the firmament of clearness, the appearance of heaven in a vision of glory

The sun, appearing at a vision, proclaiming at its departure, a wondrous vessel, the work of the Most High

At noon it parches the land, and before its heat who can stand?

a bellows-furnace in works of heat; the sun, burning threefold, setting mountains aflame, breathing out fiery vapors and shining forth rays, dims the eyes

Great is the Lord who made him, and by his words he hastened the journey.

and the moon in all things for its time, a showing forth of times and a sign of age

From the moon is the sign of a feast, a luminary decreasing at completion

The moon, according to her name, is increasing wonderfully in changing; a vessel of camps in height, in the firmament of heaven, shining out.

The beauty of heaven, the glory of the stars, an adornment giving light in the heights of the Lord

At the words of the Holy One they will stand according to judgment, and they shall by no means fail in their watches.

Look upon the bow and bless the one who made it, very beautiful in its shining.

He circled the heaven in a circle of glory; the hands of the Most High stretched it out.

At his command he made snow fall swiftly, and he hastens the lightnings of his judgment

For this reason treasures were opened, and clouds flew out like birds

In his majesty he made the clouds strong, and hailstones were broken apart.

And in his vision mountains will be shaken; by his will the south wind will blow.

The voice of his thunder rebuked the earth, and a north storm and a whirlwind of wind.

As birds flying down, he sprinkles snow, and as a locust settling, its descent; the beauty of its whiteness will amaze the eye, and at its rain the heart will be astonished

And frost he pours down like salt upon the earth, and, being frozen, it becomes the crest of thorns.

A cold north wind blows, and ice will freeze on water; over every gathering of water it will break up, and the water will clothe itself like a breastplate.

It devours mountains and burns up the wilderness, and it extinguishes grass like fire.

Healing of all is a fog, dew meeting from heat; it will gladden.

By his counsel he calmed the abyss and planted islands in it

Those who sail the sea tell of its danger, and with the hearing of our ears we marvel.

and there the astonishing and wondrous works, the variegation of every living creature, the creation of sea monsters

By his means his angel makes a good journey, and by his word all things are brought together

We shall speak many things and we shall not arrive at the end, and the completion of words: he himself is everything.

Though glorifying, where shall we be strong? For he himself is great beyond all his works

The Lord is fearful and very great, and his dominion is marvelous.

Blessing the Lord, exalt him as much as you are able; for he will surpass even yet, and in exalting him multiply, in strength do not grow weary, for you will surely not reach it.

Who has seen him and will declare it, and who will magnify him as he is?

Many things are hidden, greater than these; for we have seen only a few of his works.

For all these things the Lord has made, and to the godly he has given wisdom.
