Mighty in war was Joshua son of Nun, and successor of Moses in prophecies, who became great according to his name for the salvation of his chosen, to take vengeance on rising enemies, so that he might inherit Israel
He called upon the Most High, the mighty ruler, when enemies oppressed him on every side, and the great Lord heard him, with hailstones of mighty power and strong force.
He hurled down war upon a nation, and in the descent he destroyed those who had stood against him, so that the nations might know his full armor, that his war was before the Lord
