The Koine Bible

Jesus spoke these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven he said, Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son, so that the Son may glorify you,

Just as you have given him authority over all flesh, so that he may give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

And this is eternal life, to know you the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

I glorified you on the earth by completing the work that you gave me to do.

And now glorify me, Father, with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

I have revealed your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

Now they have known that all things which you have given me are from you.

For the words that you gave me I have given to them, and they received and truly knew that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.

I am asking on behalf of them; I am not asking on behalf of the world but on behalf of those you have given me, because they are yours.

And all that is mine is yours, and yours is mine, and I have been glorified in them.

And I am no longer in the world, and they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are.

While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you gave me, and I guarded them, and none of them was lost except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

But now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not from the world, just as I am not from the world.

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.

They are not from the world just as I am not from the world.

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

As you sent me into the world, I also sent them into the world.

And for them I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.

I do not ask only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who believe through their word in me,

so that all may be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, so that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you sent me.

And I have given them the glory that you gave me, so that they may be one just as we are one,

I am in them and you are in me, so that they may be perfected into one, in order that the world may know that you sent me and loved them just as you loved me.

Father, the one you have given to me, I want that where I am, they also may be with me, so that they may see my glory which you have given to me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

Righteous Father, and the world did not know you, but I knew you, and these have known that you sent me,

And I have made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.
