But Jesus was going with them. And when he was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof.

For I am a man set under authority, having soldiers under me, and I say to this one, Go, and he goes, and to another, Come, and he comes, and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

And answering, he said to them, Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have good news preached to them.

And standing behind at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment.

And turning to the woman, he said to Simon, Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give me water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
