Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.

For the judgment by which you judge, you will be judged, and the measure by which you measure will be measured to you.

Why do you see the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?

Or how will you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of your eye, and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

Hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Do not give the holy to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before the pigs, lest they trample them with their feet and, turning, tear you apart.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

Or which one of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a snake?

If then you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in the heavens give good things to those who ask him.

Therefore, whatever you want people to do to you, do the same to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Enter through the narrow gate, because wide is the gate and spacious is the road that leads to destruction, and many are those entering through it.

Because narrow is the gate and compressed is the way leading to life, and few are those who find it.

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

You will recognize them by their fruits. Do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles?

So every good tree produces good fruit, but the rotten tree produces bad fruit.

A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit.

Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

So then, you will recognize them by their fruits.

Not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in the heavens.

Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?

And then I will declare to them that I never knew you; depart from me, you who work lawlessness.

Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

And the rain came down, and the rivers came, and the winds blew and struck that house, and it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.

And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.

And it happened when Jesus finished these words, the crowds were amazed at his teaching.

For he was teaching them as one having authority and not as their scribes.
