Now when he came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.

And behold, a leper came near and bowed down to him, saying, Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.

And stretching out his hand, he touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded as a testimony to them.

When he entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him.

And he said, Lord, my servant has fallen sick at home, paralyzed, suffering severely.

And he says to him, I, having come, will heal him.

And the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.

For I am also a man under authority, having soldiers under me, and I say to this one, Go, and he goes, and to another, Come, and he comes, and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those following him, Truly I say to you, I have not found such faith in anyone in Israel.

But I say to you that many will come from east and west and will recline with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens.

But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into outer darkness; there will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth there.

And Jesus said to the centurion, Go; as you have believed, let it be done for you. And the servant was healed at that hour.

And Jesus, having come into Peter’s house, saw his mother-in-law lying down and having a fever.

And he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and served him.

When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he cast out the spirits by a word and healed all who were sick.

so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled: He took our weaknesses and bore our diseases.

Now when Jesus saw many crowds around him, he commanded to go away to the other side.

And a certain scribe came and said to him, Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.

And Jesus says to him, The foxes have dens and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.

Another of the disciples said to him, Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.

But Jesus said to him, Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.

And when he entered into the boat, his disciples followed him.

And behold, a great storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered by the waves, but he was sleeping.

And they came to him and woke him, saying, Lord, save us, we are perishing.

And he says to them, Why are you afraid, you of little faith? Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

But the men marveled, saying, What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?

And when he came to the other side, to the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him coming out of the tombs, very violent so that no one could pass that way.

And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with you, Son of God? Have you come here before the age to torment us?

And there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.

The demons begged him, saying, If you cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs.

And he said to them, Go. And they went out and went into the pigs. And behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and they died in the waters.

But the herdsmen fled, and having gone into the city, they reported everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed.

And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus, and seeing him, they begged him to depart from their region.
