And you shall love the Lord your God, and keep his charges and his ordinances and all his judgments, all the days.

And today you shall know that it is not your children, as many as do not know and have not seen the discipline of the Lord your God, and his great acts, and his strong hand, and his high arm

and his signs and his wonders, how many things he did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to all his land

and what he did to the power of the Egyptians, their chariots and their horses, when he caused the water of the Red Sea to cover them, as they were pursuing after you from behind, and the Lord destroyed them to this day

and what things he did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place

and what he did to Dathan and Abiron, sons of Eliab, son of Reuben, whom the earth, having opened its mouth, swallowed them up and their houses and their tents and all their possessions that were with them, in the midst of all Israel

For your eyes have seen all the great works of the Lord, all that he did for you today.

And you shall keep all his commandments, as many as I command you today, in order that you may live and multiply and, having entered, inherit the land into which you are crossing over the Jordan there to inherit it.

that you may live long on the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their seed after them, a land flowing with milk and honey

For the land into which you are entering there to inherit it is not as the land of Egypt, from which you have gone out, where when they sow the seed they water it with the feet, as if a vegetable garden.

But the land into which you are entering there to inherit it is a land of hill country and plain; it drinks water from the rain of heaven

a land which the Lord your God looks after it continually; the eyes of the Lord your God are upon it from the beginning of the year and until the end of the year

And if by hearing you will hear all his commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul

and he will give the rain to your land in its season, early and late, and you will bring in your grain and your wine and your oil

and he will give pasture in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be filled

Take heed to yourself, lest your heart be enlarged, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them

and the Lord being enraged with anger against you will shut up the heaven and there will be no rain, and the earth will not give its fruit, and you will perish quickly from the good land which the Lord has given to you

And you shall put these words into your heart and into your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and it shall be immovable before your eyes

And you shall teach them to your children, to speak them, sitting in the house and going on the way and lying down and rising up.

And you shall write them on the doorposts of your houses and of your gates

so that you may live long and the days of your sons may be on the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heaven over the earth

And it shall be that, if by hearing you hear all these commandments which I command you today, to do, to love the Lord our God, and to walk in all his ways, and to cleave to him,

And the Lord will cast out all these nations from before you, and you shall inherit nations greater and stronger than you.

Every place on which the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours, from the wilderness and Antilibanus and from the great river, the river Euphrates, and as far as the sea toward the west, your borders shall be.

No one shall stand against your face; the dread of you and the fear of you the Lord your God will put upon the face of all the land upon which you may tread, as the Lord spoke to you.

Behold, I give before you today blessing and curse

the blessing, if you hear the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today

and the curses, if you do not listen to the commandments of the Lord your God, as many as I command you today, and you go astray from the way which I commanded you, going to serve other gods, whom you do not know

And it shall be when the Lord your God brings you into the land into which you are crossing there to inherit it, that you shall put the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal

Are not these beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the setting of the sun, in the land of Canaan, the one dwelling westward, adjacent to Golgol, near the high oak?

For you are crossing the Jordan, entering to inherit the land which the Lord your God gives to you by lot, all the days, and you shall inherit it and dwell in it

And you shall keep to do all his ordinances and these judgments, as many as I am giving before you today.
