You shall not make for yourselves handmade things, nor carved things, nor shall you set up a pillar for yourselves, nor shall you put a stone marker in your land to bow down to it; I am the Lord your God.
You shall keep my sabbaths and fear my holy things; I am the Lord.
If you walk in my ordinances and keep my commandments and do them
and I will give you the rain in its season, and the land shall give its produce, and the trees of the fields shall yield their fruit
And the threshing time shall overtake for you the vintage, and the vintage shall overtake the sowing, and you shall eat your bread to fullness, and you shall dwell with security on your land.
And war shall not pass through your land, and I will give peace in your land, and you shall sleep, and there shall not be anyone frightening you, and I will destroy evil wild beasts from your land
and you shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword
And five of you shall pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword
And I will look upon you and increase you and multiply you and establish my covenant with you
And you shall eat old things, and old things of old things, and you shall bring out old things from before new things.
And I will set my covenant among you, and my soul shall not abhor you.
And I will walk among you, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people.
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt, when you were slaves, and I broke the bond of your yoke and led you with boldness.
But if you do not obey me, nor do these my statutes,
but if you disobey them, and your soul loathes my judgments so as for you not to do all my commandments, so as to break apart my covenant
And I will do thus to you, and I will bring upon you perplexity, both the scab and the jaundice, and things that cause your eyes to fail and your soul wasting away; and you shall sow your seed in vain, and your adversaries shall eat it.
And I will set my face against you, and you shall fall before your enemies, and those who hate you shall pursue you, and you shall flee with no one pursuing you.
And if even up to this you do not obey me, then I will add to chastise you sevenfold for your sins.
And I will break the pride of your haughtiness, and I will make the heaven for you iron, and your land as it were bronze.
and your strength shall be in vain, and your land shall not give its seed, and the tree of your field shall not give its fruit
And if after these things you walk contrary and do not wish to listen to me, I will add to you seven plagues according to your sins.
And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you and shall destroy your livestock and shall make you few in number, and your roads shall be desolate.
And after these things, if you are not disciplined but walk toward me in hostility,
I also will go against you in wrathful fury, and I also will strike you seven times for your sins
and I will bring upon you a sword avenging the judgment of the covenant, and you will flee into your cities, and I will send out death among you, and you will be delivered into the hands of enemies
When I have afflicted you with a scarcity of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven and shall give back your bread by weight, and you shall eat and shall not be filled.
But if on these things you will not obey me and you go toward me crookedly,
and I myself will go with you in contrary wrath, and I will discipline you, I, seven times according to your sins
And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat
And I will make your pillars desolate, and I will destroy your handmade wooden things, and I will put your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul will abhor you.
And I will make your cities desolate, and I will lay waste your holy places, and I will by no means smell the odor of your sacrifices.
And I will make your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall marvel at it.
And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword as it goes by will consume you, and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate.
Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths, and all the days of its desolation, and you shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall keep sabbath, and shall enjoy its sabbaths.
All the days of its desolation it shall keep sabbath, which it did not keep sabbath in your sabbaths, when you were dwelling in it.
And on those left from among you I will bring cowardice into their heart in the land of their enemies, and the sound of a leaf being carried will pursue them, and they will flee as those fleeing from war, and they will fall though no one is pursuing.
And brother shall look down on brother as in war, with no one pursuing, and you shall not be able to stand against your enemies
And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall consume you.
And those who are left from you shall be destroyed because of your sins in the land of their enemies; they shall melt away.
And they shall confess their sins and the sins of their fathers, because they transgressed and despised me, and because they walked opposite me sideways.
and I walked among them in a contrary wrath, and I will destroy them in the land of their enemies; then their uncircumcised heart will be turned, and then they will accept their sins
And I will remember the covenant of Jacob and the covenant of Isaac and the covenant of Abraham I will remember, and I will remember the land.
And the land shall be abandoned by them, then the land shall accept its sabbaths in its being made desolate because of them; and they themselves shall accept their lawless deeds, because they disregarded my judgments and their soul loathed my ordinances.
And not even thus, while they were in the land of their enemies, did I despise them, nor did I abhor them so as to consume them, to break my covenant with them, because I am the Lord their God.
And I will remember for them the former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, in the sight of the nations, to be their God; I am the Lord.
These are the judgments and the ordinances and the law that the Lord gave between himself and between the sons of Israel on Mount Sinai by the hand of Moses
